I'm considering reading the Kalevala, though preferably in an English translation as of now because my Finnish is severely lacking (nonexistant). Good read?

I don't really know what to say. I feel very unsatisfied with my life at this point; there is so much I want to do, want to see, want to be knowledgable about. I think it may be in part a spiritual thing too. School is so close to ending, which is a huge relief but then, as my parents say, "the real world comes knocking at your door." Thanks, but I'm already in the "real world," unless we're in the Matrix -- (P.S. Neo, give me the RED PILL.)
Maybe I should considering being a nomad/homeless for a period of time. Either I'd die somewhere alone and hungry (poisoned, more like it, from eating something like a holly berry!), or I'd come out of it sufficiently alive, though probably decrepit. It'd be interesting to withdraw from technology and the fast lifestyle of our society. To just live and survive. Unfortunately with this lifestyle I wouldn't be able to hunt as it seems animals only live in "safe areas" now where hunting isn't permitted. Hehe. :P
Maybe I'll try an island. Get used to fish. Mm, caviar.

Hm. School's been busy, though arduously fun. It's rather interesting; the classes I had expected to have fun in and enjoy the most have been a bore, and the classes that I was least looking forward to have been AWESOME.
Underneath the SkyBlack porous nebulas inflict sight to my knees. See, with the cracking and rapping of thin pinked bone-caps. I place my legs in front, move, moving, moved. Hit the orange papered wall, missing the brown oak door and instead, feel the warm rays of rising gold flitting across the back of my neck. ( Read more... )- Mushed

So, I have this project due at school that is supposed to be an obsession book. The SuperNatural it is, though originally I had wanted to do Voldemort. ;) Because I've only started collecting the bare essentials on this immense list, it'd be awesome if anyone has any links, personal experience or other information. Favourite ones as of now: Incubus Qareen Mora Fenris (Also goes by Fenrir. Think I get JK's Fenrir Greyback character now. ) Drude ( Research as of now... )

... Is it seriously only three days until christmas? Gah! Where do the days/months/years go?! I finally got around to seeing August Rush the other day. It was a cute movie and now I wish my guitar's neck wasn't broken so I could try playing again. One of my irritants with the movie is the ending: ( Just in case you haven't watched the movie... )-Mushed

Wow, feels like I haven't drawn in a long time really. Especially not for the purpose of learning. :P (*cough*handsandfeetsuckass*cough*) Anywhoos, these were done in English when the majority of the class was whinging and complaining about doing ten SIMPLE (and I mean SIMPLE, simple) comma questions. Twits. Took them twenty-five minutes in LARGE GROUPS to do these questions. ( HANDS! ... )-M.ushed

So, there is basically two and a half weeks before Hallowe'en, which translate to two and a half weeks to make a costume. Fun, fun, good times ahead~! I've been really into the whole Ancient Egyptian culture the last couple months, so a costume on that would be fairly neat to do, but there's also the Violet Baudelaire outfit (did anyone else, while watching that movie, fall in love with her beautiful dress? <3 So many layers and patterns.) Then there's a style of dress reminiscent of this: ( http://www.costumersguide.com/maggie_costumes/stays.html) So gorgeous. Actually, in retrospect, that's what I really wish to create. Haha. Now for planning and drawing! -Mushed
